We often hear from our clients that even with their system in place they’re receiving too many requests. If you feel that’s the case, give us a call, and we can work with you in a couple of ways:
- Reword or strengthen your posted guidelines. In our experience, just by letting people know what proposals you’ll consider, and more importantly which ones you won’t, can dramatically impact your proposal flow.
- Tighten your filters to ensure that only the proposals that are truly meeting your guidelines are correctly scheduled for review.
- Rework your submission form so that you’re collecting the right information to make decisions.
With the latter, ask yourself this: what in your opinion makes a proposal that merits strong consideration stand out? What disqualifies a proposal? Then check to see if your submission template gathers the information that would help in determining both.
